Fist Citizens Community Bank Donates to Keystone Central Foundation
First Citizens Community Bank recently made a $2000 donation to the Keystone Central Foundation through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). Funds donated through this program allow local businesses to take advantage of significant tax savings while providing unique educational opportunities for KCSD students.
“We are so thankful to FCCB for their support of our students again this year,” said Melissa Bottorf, Executive Director of the Foundation. Because of their generosity and that of other local businesses, we are working to help update our district's libraries into interactive "Makerspeaces.”
Created in 1988 as a 501(c)3 charitable organization, the Keystone Central Foundation operates by a volunteer board of directors to enhance the education and welfare of the students in the Keystone Central School District through education, extracurricular activities, and other charitable purposes.
If you would like to learn more about the EITC program, please contact Bottorf at 570-660-1306 or keystonecentralfoundation@gmail.com.
