Keystone Central Foundation Scholarship Applications
The Keystone Central Foundation awards over $60,000 in scholarships to graduates of Central Mountain and Bucktail High Schools. Seniors are encouraged to view Schoology and check with their guidance counselors to complete a common application for many of our scholarships. However, separate applications are required for some scholarships. Please see below.
The Hope S. Mitchell Scholarship
The Hope S. Mitchell Scholarship Fund was established by Clinton County Children & Youth and the Clinton County Housing Authority to honor the memory of their friend and colleague Hope Mitchell. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior of Clinton County who, like Hope, demonstrates kindness, love, and a deep willingness to take care of the people in our community. The Connie L. Weaver Student Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of Connie by her late husband, Charles Weaver. Applicant must be a graduating senior from CMHS who is in the top 25% of the class and plans to attend a trade school AND/OR is a member of a local shooting team. Deadline: April 15, 2024
The Sugar Valley Concerned Citizens Inc. Student Award
This award will be based on volunteerism in the community.​
To be considered for this award, you must be a graduating senior who resides in the 17747 zip code and is enrolled in the Keystone Central School District, KCSD Virtual Academy or a Cyber/Charter School OTHER THAN the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School.

The Jeffry Ardell Schlesinger Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship has been established by family and friends in memory of Jeffry Ardell Schlesinger. He was a 2004 graduate of Central Mountain High School and was a member of FBLA and other business-related clubs and activities at CMHS. According to those that knew and loved Jeffy, he was the biggest teddy bear and had the kindest heart. He was always looking out for any person he came across. Jeffy was an out-of-the box thinker with a love for anything business, technology, and gaming. His spirit and passion for business will live on through the recipients of this scholarship. The Jeff Gummo CCAC Scholarship for the Arts
The Jeff Gummo CCAC Scholarship for the Arts is available to any graduating senior who is eligible to attend Keystone Central School District. The recipient must be accepted at an institution of higher education majoring in field of study that aligns with the mission of the Clinton County Arts Council. Deadline: April 15, 2024
The Riley Elizabeth Houser Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship has been established by family and friends in memory of Riley Elizabeth Houser. She was a 2021 graduate of Central Mountain High School and was an integral part of the CMHS Lady Wildcat Softball Team. Her legacy of kindness and love for the game of softball will live on through the recipients of this scholarship. Deadline: April 15, 2024
The Ronald and Anna Mapstone Scholarship
The Ronald and Anna Mapstone Scholarship is a unique opportunity for a Central Mountain High School student who, if given the opportunity, could make their dreams come true by receiving a two- or four-year college education. The Jack and Polly Hetrick Random Acts of Kindness Award
A student may be nominated by anyone in the community or school. To nominate someone you feel is a worthy recipient of this award, please submit your name, the student’s name, how you are acquainted with this student and a handwritten commentary describing the random act of kindness (or kindnesses) you have observed or are aware of.
